Better Communication-Through Better Listening

Today, more attention is normally directed to making people better apeakers or writers, which is the “supply-side’ of the communication chain, rather than making them better listen ers or readers, which is the ‘receiving-side’ of the chain….

Both are equally important to achiebve better communication between individuals or groups but the most direct way to improve communication is by learining to listen more effectivety.

There are two types of listeners-passive and active. The primary goal of active listening is to understand what is being conveyed for problem solving, while passive listening is to solely hear what s being said just to retain information
